About Avera McKennan Rehabilitation
Avera McKennan and our partners offer a full range of rehabilitation services for people who have suffered an injury, had surgery, or simply need some therapy to regain function. We provide inpatient (staying in the hospital) and outpatient (appointments) programs based on your rehab needs.
We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for our In-patient Rehab Program, and we are also the only CARF-accredited program in the region for Behavioral Pain Management, Work Specific Rehab and Level I Brain Injury Program.

Visiting Hours
Visitors are welcome during your stay at the rehabilitation unit. Visiting hours are from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM on the nursing unit. The Rehabilitation conference room is available during evenings and weekends for your family or visitors to gather. The dining rooms are also available. Visitation in therapy should be arranged with your therapist and social worker. Please check with your nurse, to discuss when/if visitors are appropriate.
