This comprehensive residential treatment program was designed to assist regulated health care professionals who recognize and accept their need for intensive treatment for alcoholism/chemical dependency and interrelated personal difficulties.

A health professional may access The Medical Professionals Recovery Program At Tallgrass through:
- Self-referral
- State Board referral
- State Health Professionals Assistance Program referral
- Employer referral
- Physician referral
- Any other health care professional and/or agency referral
Individuals may request admission to this specialized program if they:
- Hold or are under suspension for licensure/certification from a state regulating board and/or nationally recognized association for licensure/certification in a health care field
- Are persons eligible for and/or in process of applying for licensure/certification from a state regulating board and/or nationally recognized association for licensure/certification in a health care profession
- Are persons accepted as a student in a program leading to licensure or certification
